Saloni Jaiswal

Saloni Jaiswal is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Chicago, studying Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with a focus on early Islamic legal history. Her research interests rest on the intersection among gender, Sufism, and Islamic law. Her other academic interests broadly include the anthropology of Islam; Arabic language and literature; and cultural heritage policy and practice in the Middle East.
